Terms and Conditions
Preface to terms and conditions.
Please do not take personal offence at some of the
Terms and Conditions. We trust you treat Sea Home respectfully and as
you would with your own home.
These terms and conditions apply at the moment you attend the property
and if they change while you are staying you will be notified verbally
or in writing.
Sea Home Terms and Conditions
1. We reserve the right under the terms and conditions laid herein to refuse entry and/or remove guests from the property at a moments notice.
2. The property cooking, lighting and heating is electrical. Due care and attention must be exercised by the guests with that in mind when they stay.
3. Payment for the entire let must be made in advance unless by prior arrangement.
4. All breakages must be and will be paid for*.
5. Electricity will be charged at direct cost - a small deposit is required before your stay. The meter reading will be taken on start and end of your stay.
6. There are to be no open fires outside except for small self contained barbecues which are to be up and ‘off’ the floor or lawn on bricks or stones.
7. If guests use the internal bar heater they must never leave this unattended at any time, day or night.
8. Guests are to leave the property as they find it, clean & tidy. Any additional work caused by mess or rubbish left behind in circumstances not deemed by us to be right will mean guests will be charged for the cleanup*.
9. All electrical equipment belonging to the property is deemed ‘safe to use’ on arrival. However if an item becomes unsafe and/or you become unsure of its safety, we expect you to stop using it, switch off the power supply to it and tell us immediately on emergency: Mobile 07802 981065 or Home 01293 515543
10. No more than eight people in total including the guests are to stay overnight at the property.
11. The bedding provided should be left as you find it, clean and replaced where you found it. Failure to comply with loss or cleanliness will mean a surcharge*.
12. Nothing containing plastic or wadding is to be flushed down the toilets or drains, this includes all types of nappies, sanitary towels, tampax or anything that contains plastic. Sanitary Waste Bins are provided and are to be used and emptied during your stay by yourselves into the dustbin. Failure to comply will mean a surcharge*.
13. The property is to be left secure & locked at all times when unattended, that includes all doors & windows.
14. We accept no responsibility for your vehicles while parked on the property or elsewhere on Sea Meads.
15. People staying at Sea Home do so at their own risk*.
16. This list is not exhaustive* A £50 ‘Wear & Tear’ ‘Breakages’ deposit will be made that will be kept if items are found to be damaged. If Guests arrive and find something damaged through no fault of their own they are to inform us immediately so action can be taken. When guests are at fault and no payment is forthcoming the payment will be forwarded on for collection.
17. Visitors are asked to arrive not before 2:00pm on the first day of their stay and to leave no later than 10:00am on the last day of their stay".
* These terms and conditions are deemed basic. Failure to treat the
property within the meaning of ‘fair use’ under the ‘letting act’.
Will
mean we will seek recompense under it.
All we ask for is common sense and fair behaviour - we hope you have a
very enjoyable stay and return again soon.
